How to install ZeuZ?
Please follow the instructions below:
Create a User
1. Login as Admin

2. Under 'Administration' Click on 'Users' then click on 'Create new user'

3. Fill out New User information

4. Click 'Create User'
Create a Project
1. Login as Admin

2. Under 'Administration' Click on 'Projects' then click on 'Create New Project'

3. Fill out New Project information with proper details

4. Click 'Create Project'
Create a Team
Pre Req: Must have a Project & User

1. Login as Admin

2. Under 'Administration' Click on 'team' then click on 'Create new team'

3. Fill out New Project information with proper details

4. Click 'Submit'
Editing Users within Team
Pre Req: Must have a Project & User

1. Login as Admin

2. Under 'Administration' Click on 'Project', then navigate To 'View/Edit Project'

3. Click on manage team (button with team icon)

4. Click on the assigned team and press Edit

5. Make changes to users as needed
Linking Project with Team
Pre Req: Must have a Project & Team

1. Login as Admin

2. Under 'Administration' Click on 'Project', then navigate To 'View/Edit Project'

3. Click on manage team (button with team icon)

4. Associate Team with project by clicking “+” sign

5. Select the user you want to add to that project
Group Policy
Pre Req: Must have a Project & Team

1. Login as Admin

2. Navigate to administration then click Group Policy, then navigate to ‘Create New Policy’

3. On the left side of the page modules of the framework in provided

4. Enter unique Policy Name

5. Under “Users” tab, add all users that are going to be governed by the defined policy

6. Define user privileges as required under framework, project, setting, system tabs
Framework - Test Case, Test Step, Test Run, Schedule Run, Log
Project - Requirement, Task, Bug, Milestone
Settings - Feature, Branch, Version, Label
Systems - Help, System Panel
Users - Users that are going to be governed by the above privileges

7. Click Save

Note: Recommended Settings for Tester are,
Framework Test Case/Test Step/Test Run/Schedule: Create/Edit Log: Only View
Project Requirement/Task/Bug: Create/Edit Milestone: Only View
Settings Feature/Branch/Version: Only View Labels: Create/Edit
System Help: Create/Edit System Panel: No access
Users Tester

Note: Recommended Settings for Dev are,

Users Managers
Project Setup - Create Feature
Feature: Feature is an aspect/unit of functionality of a software system that satisfies a requirement, represents a design decision, and provides a potential configuration option. Features helps organize a project by breaking it down to its key components. For example for an App Development project features can be messaging/notifications/video conferencing etc

Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team
Pre Req: User has the correct 'Group Policy' permissions to Create/Edit/Delete Feature

1. Login as user - Select your team and Project

2. Under 'Manage' Click on 'Project Setting' , then navigate To Feature

3. Click Create feature and enter name for example ‘Browser’

4. Associate Feature with project by clicking “+” sign

5. Click 'OK'
Project Setup - Create Branch & Version
Branch & Version: Branch strategically allows project to maintain the order and consistency of multiple versions of your software. Branch is essentially the duplication of an object under revision control (such as a source code file or a directory tree) so that modifications can happen in parallel along both branches. Branches are also known as trees, streams or codelines. For example you can development branch and a release branch. ZeuZ allows you to maintain multiple branches to help you with managing and testing different code versions of your branches. Versions are revision control for your branches for instance your dev branch could have multiple versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.1.2 and so on.

Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team
Pre Req: User has the correct 'Group Policy' permissions to Create/Edit/Delete Branch & Version

1. Login as User

2. Under 'Manage' Click on 'Project Setting', then navigate To Branch and Version

3. Click Create Branch and enter a name for example ‘Development’

4. Associate 'Branch' with project by clicking “+” sign

5. Click 'OK'
Project Setup - Create Dependency
Dependency: Dependency for Test Case sets any dependencies of your project or a test case for example Test Case can be dependent on OS meaning it can be run on Windows/Mac/Linux. Dependencies are there to run a test case on correct platform and reporting purposes.

Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team
Pre Req: User has the correct 'Group Policy' permissions to Create/Edit/Delete Dependency & Version

1. Login as User

2. Under 'testing' Click on 'Test Case', then navigate To 'Dependency'

3. Click Create Dependency and enter any dependency name for example Chrome/Firefox/Explorer. Click OK

4. Associate 'Dependency' with project by clicking “+” sign

5. Click 'OK'
Create a Requirement
What is a "Requirement": Testing requirements define “What” needs to be tested. Think of requirements as the map that will outline the scope and scale of testing as well as the resources that will be required. Requirements must be valid and will outline both functional and non - functional interactions that the user will have with the software

Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team
Pre Req: User has the correct Group Policy permissions to Create/Edit/Delete Requirement

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Requirements' Click on 'Create/Edit'

3) Enter the title of the new Requirement

From the dropdown menu choose the current status of the Requirement (Not Started, Started, Complete, Overdue)

Select Feature from dropdown menu
Enter Requirement Description (Optional)
Select Milestone from drop down menu
Select Priority
Select a Start Date and an End Date from the calendar
Enter Requirement Owner

4) Click 'Submit'
Search a Requirement
Pre Req: Must have created Requirement

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Requirement' Click on 'Search'

3) In the search box enter requirement name
Change / Edit Requirement
Pre Req: Must have created Requirement

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Requirement' Click on 'Create/Edit'

3) Enter the title of the Requirement to be edited or select the Requirement by clicking the dropdown menu

4) Once selected, change information as needed and click the “Submit” button
Linking Other Categories to a Requirement

Linking Tasks to a Requirement
  1.     Navigate to Bugs, Tasks, Test Cases in Requirement page
  2.     Select the requirement and press the link the button
  3.     You will see the it is linked
Linking Bugs to a Requirement
  1.     Navigate to Bugs, Tasks, Test Cases in Requirement page
  2.     Select the requirement and press the link the button
  3.     You will see the it is linked
Linking Test Cases to a Requirement
  1.     Navigate to Bugs, Tasks, Test Cases in Requirement page
  2.     Select the requirement and press the link the button
  3.     You will see the it is linked
Requirement - Attach Data (pics/gifs)
Pre Req: Must have created Requirement

1) Navigate to Create/Edit requirement

2) Select the requirement

3) Navigate to attachment tab and click upload

4) Select the file and click attach
Requirement - Discussion
If you want to discuss about that requirement you can add it in discussion tab
Requirement - Follow
If you want to follow about that requirement you can click on follow button
Create a Task
Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team
Pre Req: User has the correct Group Policy permissions to Create/Edit/Delete Task
Pre Req: Project already has setup Feature, Milestone and Requirement

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Task' Click on 'Create/Edit'

3) Enter the title of the new Task

From the dropdown menu choose the current status of the Task (Not Started, Started, Complete, Overdue)
Select Feature from dropdown menu
Enter Requirement Description (Optional)
Select Milestone from drop down menu
Select Priority
Select a Start Date and an End Date from the calendar
Enter Requirement Owner

4) Click 'Submit'
Search for Task
Pre Req: Must have created Task

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Task' Click on 'Search'

3) In the search box enter Task name
Change / Edit a Task
Pre Req: Must have created Task

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Task' Click on 'Create/Edit'

3) Enter the title of the Task to be edited or select the Task by clicking the drop down menu

4) Once selected, change information as needed and click the “Submit” button
Delete a Task
Pre Req: Must have created Task

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Taskt' Click on 'Search'

3) Tasks are deleted from the system by marking them either “Complete” or “Rejected”
Linking Other Categories to a Task

  1.     Navigate to Bugs, Tasks, Test Cases in Requirement page
  2.     Select the requirement and press the link the button
  3.     You will see the it is linked
Linking Bugs to a Task

  2.     Select the requirement and press the link the button
  3.     You will see the it is linked
Linking Test Cases to a Task

Task - Attach Data (pics/gifs)

1) Navigate to Create/Edit Task

2) Select the Task

3) Navigate to attachment tab and click upload

4) Select the file and click attach
Task - Discussion
If you want to discuss about that Task, you can add it in discussion tab

If you want to follow about that Task, you can click on follow button
Create a Bug
Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Bug' Click on 'Create new Bug'

3) Fill out all the Bug info with key values

4) Click 'Submit'
Edit a Bug
Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team

1) Login as user

2) Under ‘Bug’ Click on ‘Change/Edit’

3) Select the bug in dropdown Textbox

4) Change the values you want to change

5) Click 'Submit'
Search a Bug
Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Bug' Click on 'Search'

3) In the search box enter Bug name
Create a Milestone
What is a "Milestone": Milestone is a significant event in project management to mark specific points along a project timeline. These points may signal anchors such as a project start and end date, alpha, beta and final release. Failure to meet a milestone indicates that a project is not proceeding to plan and usually triggers corrective action by management. Milestone help manage projects by dividing project down in to phases for instance Alpha, Beta and Release are some of the milestones that can be used.

Pre Req: Must have Setup Project, Users & Team
Pre Req: User has the correct Group Policy permissions to Create/Edit/Delete Milestone

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Milestone' Click on 'Create/Edit'

3) Enter the title of the new Milestone

4) From the dropdown menu choose the current status of the Milestone (Not Started, Started, Complete, Overdue)

5) Select a Start Date and an End Date from the calendar

6) Click 'Submit'
Search for a Milestone
Pre Req: Must have created Task

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Milestone' Click on 'Search'

3) In the search box enter Milestone name
Change / Edit Milestone
Pre Req: Must have created Milestone

1) Login as user

2) Under 'Milestone' Click on 'Create/Edit'

3) Enter the title of the Milestone to be edited or select the Milestone by clicking the dropdown menu

4) Once selected, change information as needed and click the “Submit” button
View / Organize Milestone
Pre Req: Must have created Milestone

1) Login as user

2) Navigate to Milestone then click View/Organize tab
